The Women in Entrepreneurship organization is hosting a wine and cheese event in the Hatch before her Innovate State talk in Erickson Hall. Come by and network with Tracy and the Women in Entrepreneurship group.

Tracy Garley dreamt about running her own business since she was 16 years old. While working her first job at McDonalds, Tracy knew that working for others wasn’t her passion. She decided to invest more time in entrepreneurship at 16. In 2011, Tracy and her family decided to open up a retail storefront in Inkster, MI. Tracy knew that after college she wanted to take the family business to the next level.

After graduating from Michigan State University in December of 2012, Tracy moved back to Detroit MI, to assist with the family business. Tracy operated the business for a year and mentioned that it was best to move the company to Detroit. Tracy saw the revitalization that was taking place in the city and she knew it would enhance the company’s exposure to an evolving city.
